Cast for a "REAL" Nick Fury Movie.

Well, let's see if we can come up with an actual cast for a real Nick fury movie.
For those of you who don't know, Marvel is actually developing a script for a VERY dark Very HEavy Nick Fury Movie.

So, Any cast opinions?

Perhaps.....................................................

Why I believe Bruce Campbell should play Nick Fury, as I stated in a previous post, it seems another Bruce may be Fury. It seems that Bruce Willis is in negotiations to play Nick Fury, but not until he finishes "Die Hard 4.0", which starts this fall. Damn...I really wanted Campbell.

reply

I think Val Kilmer would be great for the part. But they are already talking about Bruce Willis for it, and thats alright I guess.

reply

ok, has anyone read the ultimates?! Samuel L. Jackson would be an amazing Nick Fury. Bruce Willis is awesome and i'd still love seeing him play the role, but Jackson is perfect for the role.

reply

here's my cast:

Nick Fury-Russel Crowe(Hands Down)

Director-Jonathon Hensligh(the Punisher)

Distributer:Paramount Pictures

no one ever thinks of Kurt Russel for this part...but it would be perfect...he's old like Nick Fury, but at the same time he has that sort of look as if he cant get old (just like nick) also we all know from Snake Plissed that he looks great with an eye patch, and he's a great action hero!(and a grat actor!)

My vote Goes for him!

reply

Alec Baldwin is the perfect Nick Fury.

I bet that Howard Chaykin was thinking of him when he draw that graphic novel of Nick Fury and Wolverine.

Take a look...

Kurt Russel is the best suggestion for Nick Fury, after seeing Escape from LA hes a good candidate. What about Mel Gibson

Im The AznSuperman

reply

number one choice
kurt Russell
Two Fred Ward
three Michael Biehn

reply

four Bruce Campbell

reply

If he is white. I think Bruce Campbell.

If he is black. Then the guy from Dusk Till Dawn who played the vietnam vet.

reply

What about Patrick Swayze

Im The AznSuperman

reply

Guys listen I love Bruce Campbell...Honestly I do....

But have you guys seen him lately? Buddy has gotten pretty fat. I just think hes too old guys.

Kurt russle is an awesome choice btw.

or samuel, he has the intensity needed for the role.

reply

The thing is, in the original comics... Fury always reminded me of Solid snake from MEtal Gear solid... since that character, with his eye-patch(MGS3) and scruffy beared, was originally modelled after Snake Plisken, Kurt Russell's character in Escape from New York/La. The only problem with him now is that he might be a little too old by the time they actually start making the movie.

Though if they do go with the Ultimates version of Fury... definitely Samuel L Jackson. No contest

reply

Only one I can think of is Hugh Jackman. He's got the look, he's got the chops, and he's done Marvel before in X-Men 1 & 2.

OK, Maybe Vigo Mortensen...maybe.

reply

Gary Sinese

reply

Gary Sinese. The best I've seen so far.

He would rule.

reply

Bruce Willis. He just has ass kicker written all over him.

I think Kurt Russel would be an excellent choice to play Fury. and as for his career being ruined by wearing an eyepatch again, I think not. Kurt Russel has been around Hollywood long enough to anything he wants, kind of like Rick James. Kidding aside, he definitely doesn't have to worry about his career being ruined. My number two choice would be Michael Madsen, and my number 3 would be David Carradine.

My recommendations:

Nick Fury:

- Michael Madsen

- Michael T. Weiss

- Kurt Russell

- Sean Connery?

Val:

- Catherine Zeta-Jones

Dugan:

- James Coburn

- Brad Pitt

- Bruce Campbell

Gabe:

- Denzel Washington

- Damon Wayans

Baron Von Strucker:

- Patrick Stewart

- Ben Kingsley

- Bruce Willis

- Steven Seagall?

reply

Gary Sinise
Kurt Russel
MIckey Rourke

reply

John Cusack or the bloke from Platoon (dont know what he's doing now or if he is looking too old)Tom Berenger.

reply

How about Patrick Swazye he has the look or George Clooney.

reply

I'll agree with the guy who said Tom Berenger. Or how's about Sam Elliott. He put in the best performance in the Hulk. All he needs is a little hair dye and a five o'clock shadow

reply

How about Everitt McGill (spelling?) I always thought he was good at playing a bad ass.

Otherwise Tom Jane would be good. His appearance and performance in "The Punisher" impressed me.

reply

Either Kurt Russell or Robert Patrick. Kurt is my pick for Frank Castle as well.

reply

Bruce Willis looked the part in "Sin City" and the producers were talking with him about him being in the movie. Then they decided that they would have to make it like the ultimate one so that means he will be black. This pisses me off to no end because you do NOT take a great WHITE character and make him black. That is political correctness at its stupedist. Now they are talking about (gag me) Will Smith as playing the part. As long as he is black it will suck. The whole younger with snappy technology thing is STUPID!! Peace Out!!

My actions are not vengence, no, not vengence. Punishment. -The Punisher

reply

I think that Mark Harmon from the tv series would make a good classic Nick Fury. He just isn't built enough to be Nick. I can sooooooo see Gary Sinise being a good Nick Fury....maybe it's only because I can imagine him sneering so easily haha.

reply

Ok here are some interesting choices:

Mark Hamill
William Shatner (Twenty or Thirty years ago)
I liked the guy who said Michael Biehn
and of course Kurt Russell

if they want to do him black then I see two options get either Sam Jackson or Avery Brooks.

reply

We need to get Mark Hamil to play the joker, not Nick Fury.

Michael Biehn's a posibility.

Kurt Russell's still one of the best choices I've heard.
I can't see Robert Patrick, but, I know he could do it.
I actualy could see Tommy Lee Jones doing it, we've seen him doing comedy and Two Face too much, but he's still got the chops to do this.

Ron Pearlman's an option, but in the end, he's just too big to be Nick Fury.

If they go with the Ultimate version, maybe Avery Brooks, or Laurance Fishbourne, if we're trying to get alternatives to the whole Sammuel L. Jackson angle.

Maaaaark Hamiiiiiiill!!! Across the universe!

Assuming this isn't going to be the big-budget type of movie, you could look at a Jerry Doyle or even a Jonathan Frakes type. Good second-bananas that wouldn't start the bidding at $25 million and wouldn't play so out of character the movie becomes overly campy.

reply

burt reynolds

reply

If they buffed up Steve Brushemi then i think he would be good. Like he's got the voice and the attitued and the face, but he's too skinny. If they buffed him up he'd be awsome, but they shouldn't buff him up. They should jsut cast him as he looks now. And how about George Clooney? what about him.

reply

Bruce Willis is in Talks with Marvel for the Fury Movie... finally a Nick Fury on the List who can use a New York Accent (Fury was from Hell's Kitchen)

reply

Sam Jackson, he's got the look of the ultimate Nick Fury which i think has a better look than the origional 'old man' Fury that some artists seem to make him look like. And well they changed the look of Kingpin to a black guy and he is one of the largest Villain in the comics not to mension an arch nemesis of both Spider-man and Daredevil.

reply

I could've cast Arnold Schwarzenegger but he's now governor of California. This has to go with the cigar smoking but maybe in a real movie Nick Fury doesn't smoke cigars.

reply

I, Mr Faruk, believe I would make a most thrilling 'Nick Fury'.
Give me an eye patch and several million dollars, and I'll give you a blockbuster.
