Cast for a "REAL" Nick Fury Movie.

Well, let's see if we can come up with an actual cast for a real Nick fury movie.
For those of you who don't know, Marvel is actually developing a script for a VERY dark Very HEavy Nick Fury Movie.

So, Any cast opinions?

Okay, I realize that this may never get read as the last post was just under three years ago, but as I recall, in the ultimate universe the artists decided to make Fury look like Sam Jackson because they wanted to reach out to a younger audience. With the movies the marvel is is allowing to be made (I truly believe that they are just allowing them to be made because they are making so much money) they are being modeled off of the ultimate universe to again reach a new younger audience.

That being said (and I realize that if i get comments back they will be saying things like "We got that" or something like that with sarcasm infused) Here are a few choices I would go with.

White Fury:
Think about a much older face here, but...Sean William Scott-He has proven that he can do both comedic and serious roles, he has a good build and height to play Fury, and I bet if you were to age him till he was about 50, he would look like Fury too.
I liked the Mark Harmon suggestion, he is playing an ex-marine on NCIS and if he bulked up a bit I'm very sure he could pull it off.
Kurt Russell-See other references to Kurt Russell as playing Snake Plissken in Escape From New York, then in Escape from L.A..

Black Fury
Sam Jackson-Obvious choice because of what I pointed out earlier.
Denzel Washington-He has the acting chops to pull it off, but I am not sure about his body build.
Avery Brooks-He also looks like Fury.

Anyway, hope I have not offended anyone. Just some things to think about and a new view at the character.

Stephen Lang!

Yes, Lang owned in Avatar and was a similar character. Toss an eyepatch on, dye the hair, and zing. Winner winner chicken dinner.

Stephen Lang would make the perfect Fury. He's slightly older, pushing 60 I believe, but he's in way better shape than SLJ and he has that tough, military attitude down to a T. Just watch him in Avatar or Tera Nova. He'd make a great Nick Fury... but an even better Cable.

I want freaking Jeff Bridges play Nick Fury.

Because at least in prison and at least in death, you know, I wouldn't be in *beep* Bruges.
