I think they should make a direct-to-DVD sequel called "Jungle Rising". It could pick up where the original film left off. With Treat Williams and Kevin J. O' Connor battling the gigantic creature that was coming towards them at the end of the first movie.
I want a sequel to the original or a remake with sequels!!!

Hell yeah, BUMP. I just watched it again about an hour ago and I whole heartedly agree. It's a fantastic movie. It's campy, sometimes scary and gory, and. I can forgive Stephen Sommers any missteps in his career because of this movie.

Likewise, I'm sure. But, I think the moment has passed for a sequel. The Stephen Sommers who made The Mummy wasn't the same guy who made DR.

Yes the movie is pure corn, and ya know every line by heart (at least, I do, hehe) but it truly deserves a sequel we have so patiently been waiting for all these years. Someone needs to break out the celluloid and get cracking!

Never say never. Here we are, bigging up a film that is 11 years old. And it was supposed to be a B movie.
I rest my case.
Sometimes the will of the people prevails.
Jericho (the tv series, yes?) would have been pulled if its fans didn't bump the studio.
If any movie is SCREAMING for a sequel this is it!! The odds are low after so many years but NEVER say never!
