Bump this thread if you want a sequel

I tried to make a petition online, but it didn't work. If anyone wants to, the website is http://www.petitiononline.com/.

Seriously considering the direct to dvd fever and the monster movies on Scifi channel, stranger things have happened.

BUMP

I am shocked (pleasantly) that there is so much love for this movie. I've been a fan since I rented it back in the day, and thought the ending was a huge cock tease.

I would love to see a sequel, but only if the original cast/crew were involved. It was a very fun monster movie, a great creature design, fun characters, and awesome gore. Very worthy of a sequel.

I mean come on The Mummy got 2 sequels, and a prequel and only 2 of them have any merit (The Mummy, and The Scorpion King respectively, due to the Rock's performance.)

For what we are about to see next, we must enter quietly into the realm of genius.

Bump and Bump again, I'd love to see a sequel. Ever since I saw this, it's been one of my favorites.

reply

I would love a sequel. It would be great to see what the guys are gonna do when that big monster is coming at them from the jungle.

reply

I agree with you. Most everyone I known that has seen this film has enjoyed it. Not sure why it didn't do so well.

BUMP bump bump

seriously why have that ending and not make number dos, we need it...

reply

Definately! We need another monster movie from Somers.

Who says violence is not the answer?

Stephen Sommers does R-RATED action films justice if you ask me.

Not that 'The Mummy' was bad - far from it. But Deep Rising ROCKED.

Would love if it as long as it ain't some *beep* direct to video or tv film like on sci-fi, then yes I would like it, but that's the only way it would happen though!

Well I'm a victim of circumstance!
I thought you call it your pecker?

Really don't know why I enjoyed it so much. Rented it once and took 3 weeks to take it back. Saw it once. So I paid far too much for it in fines.

Went back 6 months later and saw the same video store had it on offer to buy for less than I initially rented it for.... I bought it. Seen it about 10 times since :)

I normally don't go for films like this, but somehow it has something that is just appealing, funny and entertaining. Completely unoriginal and often quite bad, but I guess that is where the charm lies.
