Brad Pitt Can't Act

I just watched 12 M. for the first time, all the way through. Is the reason that IMDB describes it as a black comedy because Pitt's performance is so clownish and exaggerated? Was he not directed!? I don't think he was at this undeserved exalted place in pop. culture at the time, so why didn't they fire him after the first few dailies? He's just awful and distracting in every scene.
I was never a Brad Pitt hater, but his performance in Seven was bad, too. I also saw him in an earlier obscure flick and he was terrible there as well. 12 M would have been a much better movie, and possibly a cult classic, without him in that key role. Brad must've been a pool boy for some influential producer back in the day. He surely can't act.

Brad Pitt has a very impressive filmography, in particular the work he did in the 90's.

You have to be kidding he is a figure because he is great. If you ever been in an institute to see the way people act then you know he is great.
I saw him in babel, he totally make me ball my eyes out. On snatch he really did it all the way as a gypsy. Dude no, I mean say whatever you want about Jesus but leave Pitt alone. LOL

He is a favorite of hollywood for a reason. get over it.

Who is this Brad Pitt person in this movie? Will he ever make it in Hollywood? He reminds me of that Warren Beatty guy only with a permanent tantrum.

Yes, I agree. Brad Pitt can't act. However, 12 Monkeys is the only film I ever remember Pitt actually doing a good job. Possibly because he's totally nuts in the film and he can pull that off. The director just said, 'Pretend you're on uppers and crazy; just say anything that comes out of your mouth'. Otherwise, the only other instance I had any pleasure watching Pitt was when he was smacked in the face by John Malkovich in "Burn after reading". I watched that scene several times...so satisfying. Love 12 Monkeys. I've seen it at least 6 or 7 times and mine new info every time.

Not only he can act, he is actually very good, he has range ;)

You are just ridiculing yourself with such a post......

I think this pretty much says it all about the OP.

The easiest way to get replies to a posted thread is to disagree with the obvious. The obvious here being that Brad Pitt acted well in 12 Monkeys. In some cases disagreeing with the obvious is refreshing. But this is just a case of a sad, lonely troll looking for attention. PLZ STOP FEEDING THE TROLL!

John C. Reilly grabbed modern comedy by the throat and gave it THE LAST RESORT!
