but that still doesn't mean, that it will be over. In planetmadtv.com there is article about this, and it says that MADtv has had offers from different tv-stations over the years. So maybe it will be in another channel.

I personally would love, if MADtv does continue. And this thread isn't for you haters. If you don't like MAD, fine. Don't come here to tell us that. Even though season 13 and 14 weren't as good as the previous ones, it still is good comedy to me.

I hope someone else picks it up. I'm not sure what Fox thinks they are doing lately! Personally, I've always preferred MAd TV to SNL, so I would hate to see it go.

yea Fox doesn't know good comedy, they should listen to the people. They are spinning off Family Guy with the Cleveland show even though Family Guy is crap now and they are going to cancel King of the Hill even though it is the funniest of the prime time cartoons. Also, the decision they made with Madtv to move studio for season 13-14 n negatively effected the show as it didn't allow as much flexibility.

The problem I have with MADTV is the skits. It starts off funny and then gets stupid and corny.

I prefer SNL to MadTV and I always have, but I still like them both. There was a time in the early 2000's when MadTV was growing on me and SNL was boring me but the tables have turned and I'm beginning to enjoy SNL again. That being said, I don't think Fox should cancel this show! NBC stuck w/ SNL through bad years and eventually it picks back up then it gets crappy again and the trend goes on as cast members and writers come and go... surely MadTV wouldn't have stayed horrible forever... hopefully another station picks it up, if only to give SNL some more motivation and competition.

Madtv has gotten corny over the last couple of years ever since they got slowly got rid of their original cast members. I think its fine time to cancel the show

ever since they got rid of the orginal cast of the prime years the show has never been the same...I thought they were coming back with Ike whats his name, and Frank but Frank left and they got rid of Ike, so if MAD TV gets cancels then they deserved it, its there own fault.

This used to be my favorite sketch show, but it's gone WAY down hill. It was surprisingly kind of funny last year, but this year...it just sucks. Why'd they change the format? I hate it. Not funny anymore. This is what they get.

New format sucked, new cast members suck, and most of the skits last season and this season have been pretty bad. It really sucks though because now theres nothing to watch on saturdays and don't say snl I rather stab myself in my nut sack then have to watch another *beep* episode of that.

MadTV used to be a very funny show, but those days are long gone. It's about time they cancel it.
