Family was even worse in this one! *Spoilers*

Now, I can forgive the family in the first movie, because everything was hectic, and didn't know what Buzz was doing, but in this one they were waaaay worse.

See Buzz humiliating Kevin during the Christmas pageant, and seem disgusted by it. Except for Frank, who laughs. Kevin retaliates.

At home, they actually buy Buzz's obviously fake apology, and demand that Kevin apologize to Buzz, too. For what? For standing up for himself? Don't hear Buzz call Kevin a trout sniffer, when anyone could've heard that.

Don't hold his hand or carry him through the airport. Kevin should've waited until he got on the plane to put batteries in his Talkboy, but they were at fault, too, for not keeping an eye on him.

While at the police station, Peter and Kate make that tasteless joke about how they never lose their luggage, knock on wood. Even the cop looked disgusted.

I think in a way they got what they deserved. All in a run-down motel with horrible, rainy weather, while Kevin lives it up in New York in the Plaza Hotel. Plus, watching It's a Wonderful Life in Spanish, not being able to understand what they're saying, LOL.

One thing good I will say about Kate and Frank in this one, is that at the end, Frank was "Alright, Kevin! Merry Christmas!" and Kate was about to scold Buzz when it looked like he was going to insult Kevin, so hopefully, they learned their lesson.

I also never understood why Buzz never got in trouble for his prank on Kevin during the Christmas pageant, I sometimes wish Kevin would've just kept his cool just to avoid trouble.

Buzz was an obnoxious bully. I think he was jealous of Kevin who was cuter, smarter and obviously more resourceful.

The comment about not losing their luggage made me laugh. Guess I have a twisted sense of humor.

I think the parents were upset and embarrassed that they lost their kid twice. They were trying to diffuse an awkward moment and it came out as a bad joke.

All true. But it's done intentionally by the genius writing of John Hughes since we don't have a movie without it, plus it's funny as hell seeing Buzz being a prick and Uncle Frank being a cheap fucker.
