Me I give Home Alone 2 a 9/10, it's not quite as great as the classic original but it is a great movie and a lot of fun to watch, the booby trap sequence in 2 was superior to the original but the rest of the film wasn't quite as great as the original.

As I give the original 10/10 because of nostalgica mostly - I would give 6 - 7 /10 to the sequel (for just repeating gags most of the time).

hillary wolf/megan quitting acting all together after her appearance in home alone 2.
angela goethals/linnie from home alone 1 being absent in home alone 2.
because both of those girls/women make me laugh in home alone 1, and i'll be too overwhelmed with emotion if i try to watch home alone 2 over those issues with them.
9/10, same as you. I think it's more fun than the original, even if the first one is technically a better film. I think it's a lot better as a kids movie and it's more sentimental, which are things I prefer. As a kid, I remember wanting to be Kevin while watching this, which isn't something the first film inspired.
