On a scale on 0-10 how did you like Home Alone 2?

Me I give Home Alone 2 a 9/10, it's not quite as great as the classic original but it is a great movie and a lot of fun to watch, the booby trap sequence in 2 was superior to the original but the rest of the film wasn't quite as great as the original.

As a movie from my childhood, 10 out of 10. I know it’s flawed, but what can I say. Objectively, it’s no worse than 6 but no better than an 8.

8/10

it take same formulas from first movie and give us similar quality of home alone 1 but in new place. very original film! i enjoy hotel scenes very much. very fun and entertain chirstmas film. the best christmas film come out at that time in 80s and 90s.

but yes scene in derelict house at end is looney tunes - throwing bricks on head is not funny. many punk do this irl and probably copy kevin when they watch that scene and throw brick at someone - famous story of kid throwing brick off highway bridge on car below and kill people.

I give 'Lost in New York' a 10/10. I prefer it to the original. Everything is just much bigger in scope, and almost every scene can be considered iconic. What doesn't hold up is the bird lady plot, as I prefer the old neighbor from the first film.

Home Alone = 8/10
Home Alone 2 = 6.5/10

I feel they were actually able to recapture a lot of the 'spirit' of the original, but its also kinda rehashy.

Trump bumped it up to a 10.
