I love the cast members, but you know what, I hate this movie
I take back the love I had for it. To the cast: why? Why did you guys choose to play bigoted roles. I love Annabella, Matt, Ernie and Madeline (all the cast members), but this movie glorifies bigotry not just against autistic people (like myself), but also against people that think differnetly (yes the guy lived in a mental hospital; unless it was that his parents abandoned him and threw him in some shelter). What really turns me off about this movie is that Bartel (like any other character who I hate they don't deserve my repsect of calling them by their first name) believes Mott's lie and before kicking Solomon out attacks him and then berates and cries. When she does finally rehire him, it seems she's expecting him to kiss ass because she doesn't apologize for believing the accusation. That turned me off. That's one of the reasons I'll never set foot in a "bro"-hating "Friends"-watching white supremacist land like Washington (and btw, the family is Scottish - not surprising, cause Scotland [the Lowlands] has a history of bigotry against tomboys, autistics, "bro"-sayers, girls who are one of the guys [all four they associated with darker races]).
I hope director Hanson is rotting in Hell and the folks who wrote this get beaten up. I love Annabella Sciorra and the other cast members. I think she's a "bro"-sayer too. But I'm disappointed in them. I would expect people like them to not accept a role.
This is despicable.
It's types like that not only fuel bigotry against types like me but give paraprofessionals more reason to abuse us.
All I know I'm no Solomon, if I get falsely accused by types like them like the way the character did in this movie I will not be Solomon. I will fight, and if they refuse to apologize, it'll be a nice lawsuit and drama. I don't like drama, but you start with me, we're gonna have it.
