Sharon was supposedly 30, she looked at least 40+
I always notice how nowadays 40 years old look like 30 or even younger when you compare them with people from the last century: in the 80s at 40 you were a woman, middle aged, almost considered old.
Well, Sharon Stone is supposedly 30 in Basic Instinct (she was 33 while shooting), yet she dresses like a mature woman, does her hair like a middle aged woman, and behaves like the best of her years are past her. I bet part of her femme fatale allure is that she's "that old" and yet is not married nor with kids. The only thing she does that doesn't scream "over the hill" is banging (in a very ordinary kind of way too, although the movie tries to sell it as some out of this world sex).
Do you think it's the movie that strangely portrays a 30 year old female as a "woman" (instead of a girl), or is it me/us in 2019, that we strangely still behave like teenagers after our 30s and well into our adulthood?
Now excuse me but I have to go play with my ps4/dick:-)
