Even if studios don’t want to cast white males anymore. Why no movies like this anymore?

The people currently responsible for today's movies are either incapable of making something like this or the studios just don't want it. They already tried redoing this movie in 2015 and failed miserably.

Because woke messaging trumps quality filmmaking, and DEI has replaced meritocracy. The result is a sewer of woke shit made by mediocre midwits where there used to be a constant stream of fucking great films made by talented artists.
