I give them credit for not casting some bimbo, but an emo looking chick who is older and less pretty than Keanu?

I always had the biggest crush on Lori Petty when i was a kid...I wont go as far to say she was the "It" girl..far from it..but she was for sure the goto girl for a strong supporting role in the 90s. I can't imagine any other actress playing Tyler. I'm happy she has found a career resurgence from her role in Orange is the new black. Though I no longer have a crush on her as a 35yo man.

Same. I didn't really dig her in PB, but in "In the Army Now", it was a different story. And, of course, Tank Girl's uniqueness was always really appealing, if you're into that sort of thing.

The real love story in this film was between the two male characters, the girl was only there to disguise the homoeroticism.

Not very well, I must say. Petty was so boyish/butch she didnt exactly straighten things up!

I agree. Bad choice. But this whole movie was full of bad choices, watching it was a bad choice on my part.

SPOILER ALERT!!

Keanu's character has never surfed in his life, and after a few lessons with the chick he's surfing with the big boys?? And that's not even the dumbest thing in this movie. He later jumps out of a plane with no parachute! PUH-leasee!
