I thought I was the only one!

Really- I thought I was the only person in the known universe who liked this movie- no, not liked- LOVED. I LOVED IT.

And I did from the second I saw it, when it came out. I was in Uni (omg lyk hOw old r u?!) getting my visual arts degree, and this movies sets just completely blew me away, and provided the creative inspiration I needed.

I started thrifting like a mad bugger and decorated my house exactly like that. I still love watching, and showing it to all my friends... who kind of inch away from me as I die laughing at every joke.

One day when I'm rich, I hope to own a pickle-shooting train.

I love this movie! Love it, love it, love it! I think it's funny as all heckfire. No, it's not Shakespeare. It's not a critics' comedy. There's no love story, there are no sentimental moments, and there is no lesson you learn in the end. It's just weird, screwball, crackpot comedy!

The thread was started in 2007!? Wow. I haven't seen this movie in YEARS. I remember being the only one in my family that liked it! I thought it was hilarious! My parents hated it, but my brother sort of liked it too. I think we watched it together a few times. Miss it coming on HBO all the time... back in the early 90's... a long time ago.

3rd generation American from a long line of Gottscheers... it was Drandul, dude!

Very rewatchable and quote worthy movie.

Could have only been done during that time.
