Your favourite line?
There's a great line literally every 10 seconds, but one of mine would be..
"Put them in the Iron Maiden!"
"Iron Maiden?!? Excellent!!"

Basically anything they say cracks me up without fail. Our local theater had a special showing of it last night. It was the first time I'd seen it in at least 7 years and it's even funnier than I remember it. Some of my favorites:
(upon seeing the princesses for the first time)
Bill: It's a history report, not a babe report.
Ted: But Bill, those are historical babes.
(when they're researching George Washington for their report and trying to come up with facts)
Ted: Oh wait! Disneyland, the Hall of Presidents, remember?
Bill: Yeah! What did he say?
Ted: "Welcome to the Hall of Presidents!" (this line in particular cracks me up)
(after witnessing Ted's "death")
Bill: Bogus... Heinous... Most non-triumphant.
(and)
Bill: You killed Ted you MEDIEVAL DICKWEED!!!
(the ever classic...)
Ted: Bill...?
Bill: Yeah?
Ted: ...strange things are afoot at the CircleK.
(and the mantra everyone should live their lives by)
Bill: Be excellent to each other.
Ted: Party on dudes!
Seriously, that about sums up my belief of how to live one's life. Treat your fellow man like you yourself expect to be treated (you know, the Golden Rule summed up in stoner-speak) but don't ever forget to have a good time while you're here. Because as another great philosopher once said "You should never take life to seriously, you'll never get out alive."
Weenie Wraps intrigue me
"Captain Logan, this is Deputy Van Halen down at the station..."
"SAN DIMAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL RULES!!!!!!"
share"Nah. Just got a minor Oedipal complex."
"Everything is different, but the same... things are more moderner than before... bigger, and yet smaller... it's computers... SAN DIMAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL RULES!!!!!"
"So, Bill, what you're telling me, essentially, is that Napoleon was a short dead dude."
But my favourite line had to be from Ted's kid brother.
Bill: "You ditched Napoleon!"
Ted: "Deacon, do you realize you have just stranded one of Europe's greatest leaders in San Dimas?"
Deacon: "He was a dick."
agreed. that and, "strange things are afoot at the circle k"
hard to believe if you saw it when it first came out (20 years ago??) but time has revealed this as a groundbreaking film, it gave life to future actors like ashton kutcher and sean scott (as in, dude where's my car). it put the west coast slacker/skater/stoner culture on the map, blueprinted it for the 90s and opened the door for hordes of films of that ilk, some good, some bad. and it launched keanu reeves, one of the most improbable successes in hollywood. and of course it is a great, great comedy script, still one of the funniest ever written. ed solomon was one of the writers, he was great.
This.
shareBill: [after Ted was "killed" by a medieval soldier] Bogus. Heinous. Most non-triumphant. Ah, Ted, don't be dead, dude
Bill: You killed Ted, you medieval dickweed!
Bill: You ditched Napoleon!
Ted: Deacon, do you realize you have just stranded one of Europe's greatest leaders in San Dimas?
Deacon: He was a dick!
Ted: Excuse me. When did the Mongols rule China?
Lady at the Circle K: I don't know. I just work here
Ted: Bill
Bill: What?
Ted: Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K
Ted: Want a twinkie, Genghis Khan?
"That's a bingo! Is that the way you say it: "That's a bingo?" - Col. Hans Landa
Teacher: It seems to me that all you've learnt is that Caeser was a salad dressing dude
Teacher: Who was Joan of Arc
Ted: Noahs wife
Bill: He's dead
Teacher: So what your telling me is that Napoleon was a short a dead dude
"Bill...Strange thing are afoot at the Circle K."
or
"This is "Bob" Ghengin Kahn" Hilarious!!
My absolute favorite line is when Rufus is first bringing them to the phone booth
Bill: How are you going to help us? You gonna call someone and get the answers?
Makes me crack up every time!
Dragonzord! Mastodon! Pterodactyl! Triceratops! Saber Toothed Tiger! Tyrannosaurus!
There's so many great lines in this - my brother & I have been quoting from this for 20 years!
"You killed Ted, you medieval dickweed!"
"We're w/ you, Mister the Kid!" and "Whoa...3 aces!"
"Abraham Lincoln. That's L-i-n-C-o-l-n." "I know how to spell Lincoln!"
"Oh and Ted - give my love to the princesses" "Who?" "You'll see!"
"This is Deputy Van Halen down at the station.....if you want your keys, better come & get 'em!"
"You ditched Napoleon?!" "He was a dick!"
I really could quote half the movie - fortunately it's one of those I loved as a kid that still holds up :)
"Are you going to your grave with unlived lives in your veins?" ~ The Good Girl
I cant remember the line word for word, but when Bill is introducing Genghis Khan.
Put your hands to together for Genghis Khan, 700 years ago the Mongols ruled China, we found out just over an hour ago he ravaged the Sporting Goods.
Napoleon: Merde, Merde, Merde, Merde, Merde
Bill: If we were one of the greatest European General to ever live, where would we go...(in unison) WATERLOO
In the future, the great ones say 'It's you' and I think Bill says 'It's us' looks to Ted and says 'Who are we'
"Socrates. Hey, we know that name!"
"Yeah! Hey, look him up. Oh, it's under So-Crates."
"Dust. Wind. Dude."
I also laugh at "Bob Genghis Khan" every time.
Johnny Depp: Creating men's inferiority complexes since 1963
