This is great news. A sequel is completely unnecessary, yes. But I'd be a liar if I said I wouldn't see it.

I just hope it doesn't turn out like Dumb and Dumber To (same crew, still not nearly as good as the classic).

Sequels almost never work (unless they're pre-planned prior to the making of the original, and not always then).

This current B list mostly movie actress is still beloved. She is just someone we always will pull for even if she does not do much any longer. A barely legal teen when she made this monster hit, she says she would only do a sequel if this A list mostly television actor is not in it. He would not stop hitting on her and she hated seeing any call sheet where they had to film.

It looks like it actually will be filming in 4 months or so, Keaton and I guess Elfman returning. No word on Winona but it would be weird if she didn't return considering they can't really bring anyone else back but Catherine O'hara. Baldwin and Davis were ghosts so it would make no sense that they aged, plus Baldwin is a murderer and would make everyone feel uncomfortable on set. Jeff Jones fulfilled the prophecy his mustache and face foretold. Otho passed away.

Almost 10 years ago---- I'd say it's NOT happening

Now -- 36 years later --- COULD have a part 2 with Wnnonas character grown up with a family and her --"Talent is passed on

I Think all the originals are still alive

Alec says he hated the movie BUT I can act better than him anyway, and much safer with fire arms
