Grownups don't like this?
What's wrong with them?
shareI watched it the other night with my 5 year old daughter. She enjoyed it and I thought it was a good mix of fun and darkness.
share5-year old can't know what 'darkness' means, and she was probably spooked by the movie. Your kid is either manipulating you or you are lying to us (possibly re-phrasing and heavily 'interpreting' and editing what your kid -actually- said, probably 'waaaah I want ice cream')
My now 6 year old daughter has watched many films with me and we thoroughly enjoy our time together. If you re-read my post it states that 'I thought it was a good mix of fun and darkness'.
shareMost kids movies are designed to have content that goes over the kids' heads for the benefit of the parents
Are you kidding? Grownups love this film, particularly if they were teenagers when they first saw this! It's the kids who have issues with it. I know I was creeped out when I first saw it, and didn't want to watch it until years later when I was in my 20s. Then I could appreciate the messages it had a lot better.
shareI first saw it in my thirties, and saw it again in my forties, fifties, or sixties. I like this film!
Okay, I like David Bowie in this film more than the movie as a whole, but he's still worth a $3 PPV.
I'm 37 and love this movie
shareSomething very serious.
Not liking Labyrinth is a sure sign of mental problems.
Saw his movie as a little kid when it came out and still love it today. I can understand it is not for everyone.
