I LOVE Matlock reruns... I'm only 20 and this is my favorite show, along with "In the Heat of the Night." Andy Griffith is hilarious. I wish it would come out on DVD!!!

hey electictroy...how long have you been a lawyer, if you don't mind me asking? I am am going to law school next fall. (not because of Matlock...lol) Even though, to me, Matlock is more of a combination defense attorney/private investigator...

This show was awesome!!!

I used to watch this with my Gramma when she lived with us.

After that I was hooked, and would watch it on TBS every day on my lunch hour.

I'm 25 now. I love this show. But I also watched it when it first came out. I've always liked it. I love Andy Griffith too.
Oddly enough, I used to not like Murder She Wrote, now I do.
Perhaps it is something to do with age.

Talk to me in ten years and see if I like Perry Mason.

I'm 17 and love Matlock but I can never watch it because it is on during the day. Where the stereotype is that stay-at-home moms like to watch soaps, elderly people like to watch Matlock! They are on around the same time.

My Grandparents like Matlock though probably only because Andy Griffith is in it. It's one of the few TV shows they'll watch. I like it too.

I'm 24 and I love Matlock as well.

My dad watched it when I was a kid in the early 90s (around 92-93). I didn't pay much attention to it then. As I was more into Law and Order and ABC/NBC sitcoms of that time period. But, last summer. I started watching it on an HD channel I get and WGN as well. Got totally sucked into it. Ben Matlock was a take no crap old lawyer who usually solved every case. Rock on Matlock. And, RIP Andy.

I´m almost 31 and I first watched Matlock on German TV in the early 90´s, when I was about 14 to 15 years old. Needless to say, I loved it and I still do.
There´s only one major difference: Today I´m able to watch it in english ;)

I'm currently 24 years old. I really loved the serie from the start. The actors are brilliant in the serie. And yes sometimes the plots are repeative but the characters are keeping it interesting and fun.

I am not old, either, and I have been a fan of the show since the beginning.

Andy Griffith is a good, likeable actor. Stories are interesting. Guest stars are familiar faces, if not household names (like one tends to see in shows like Murder She Wrote).
