Why does Rocky have such a small entourage when he goes to Russia?

It's just Paulie, Duke, and later Adrian. My point is that why does Rocky in effect, have only two cornermen (Paulie and Duke) for his bout with Ivan Drago? In the previous movies (especially when Mickey was alive), I could've sworn, that he had more than that. I mean, is it actually normal for boxers to have a limited amount of cornermen or people?

Maybe he had only the most important people in his life to show how personal the fight means to him.

Restrictions from the USSR? Although given his primitive training area I would say he wanted to be isolated as much as possible.

Stop with the Donald Trump propaganda of claiming restrictions from the USSR just because it was communist. Living in the USSR at that time was nothing like portrayed by our evil capitalist system as per my college professor

You do not have to have any corner men.

In his other fights yes he had a few more people but these was sanctioned fights this one was not.

The only other person you would consider adding would be someone to take care of medical needs.

He chose what he had Paulie even mentions this why let them give us this and Rocky stated he chose all this it was about revenge for the death of his friend.
