Tell us your first Howling II experience

I was six years old when this movie came out. I remember seeing the ad on TV and I pestered my parents to take me to see it all week. Finally the friday it was released they took me and I LOVED it! It was funny becuase I am totally into the movie the music everything, and my parents are just groaning.

I have seen this movie at least 50 times since then, most recently 6/3/07 on Cinemax while I was going to sleep. It is awful, bad, and just stupid, but I have to say I just love it!

Watched it last night to see just how bad it was. And it was bad. Apart from Sybil Danning's... moments, it wasn't anything special.

I went to a Hollywood Video store yesterday. There was a pile of VHS movies that were two for a dollor I bought a whole bunch of them and one of them was Howling 2. (I also got Howling:New moon rising)

I watched Howling 2 a few hours ago. I thought it was stupid but I wasnt bored.
I gave it a 5/10

I was around 12 or 13 the 1st time i watched it on late night cable. I kept getting hardons every time I saw Sybil Danning make an appearance in her sexy outfit or exposing her breasts.

reply

No doubt Sybil's big breasts caused hardons in every boy who first saw H2 at that age (and i'm one of 'em!).

I actually like this movie. It's so cheesy, it's actually good.

saw this on a local network fri the 13 movie special, my friend thought it was awful and I thought it was kind of funny and cool, I later got a vhs dub of it and also own the beta version with the cover art though I have no beta player.

When I was six years old I sneaked into the living room while my Dad and Grandpa were watching the orgy scene. My Grandpa leaned over to my Dad and said,"Yeah Baby I wanna be a wolf!". Then my Dad saw me out of the corner of his eye nad sent me back to bed.

Saw it about a year or two after it was released on Vhs. Hated it. Barely made it through it, if I even did. Can't remember. All I remember about it is Tits, a creepy forest path scene and Christopher Lee.

I'm going to give it one more go on Dvd soon. Should I, or should I skip it?

About 12 or 13, was getting into Lee's films big time, persuaded someone to get rent it from the video store for me (to their shame), and.... well.... I really didn't know what to say. It just can't be serious (same director of "The Return of Capt. Invincible" afterall), it's a little unique in that it's soundtrack consists of 1 songs, and apart from Christopher Lee, I'll be amazed if any of you tell me that the rest of the cast worked in film again. Having said that, it is still my favourite Howling film :) You can't help but like it. Should we campaign to make it an audience participation (i.e. Mommy Dearest, Rocky Horror....) film and host events for it (may get quite sweaty though given the content of the film....)

Sybil Danning ripping her shirt off to reveal the "twins" left a lasting impression..................
