Tell us your first Howling II experience

I was six years old when this movie came out. I remember seeing the ad on TV and I pestered my parents to take me to see it all week. Finally the friday it was released they took me and I LOVED it! It was funny becuase I am totally into the movie the music everything, and my parents are just groaning.

I have seen this movie at least 50 times since then, most recently 6/3/07 on Cinemax while I was going to sleep. It is awful, bad, and just stupid, but I have to say I just love it!

Well its on the movie channels periodically. I haven't seen the entire movie yet. I just try to catch the end where Sybil Danning keeps ripping her shirt off. Pointless, Sexy and hilarious.

I remember first seeing it on a Saturday afternoon on cable 15 years ago. I remember it was in a 90 minute time slot with commercials. The movie made absolutley no sense and was way dark. Later on I saw the full version and enjoyed it much more. Probably the only Howling movie I like. Part 6 was good, but Part 2 is my fave.

I saw the first one about 10 years ago in high school and recently had a dream that I was in one of the sequels. it instantly made me want to go find all of the sequels. After some hunting I found the 2nd one on dvd for $7.99 and snatched it up. I ended up watching it at work a few months ago and although it was pretty stupid and no where near as good as the original, I still enjoyed it. I just found parts 3 and 4 this week and ordered 5 and 6 on Amazon.

The first time I turned it on, Sybil Danning was watching the other two werewolves get it on in the bed. I finished it for the boobs. I re-watch it...for the boobs. :)

I've seent he movie version ending.

So what happens in the TV version ending?

I first saw this jaw-dropping atrocity back in the late 80's when I rented it on VHS from a local mom'n'pop place. My brother and I were roaring with laughter while watching this accursed swill. We both especially loved the ending, of course.

I enjoy keeping busy. Satan finds work for idle hands.

I saw it on HBO just like the first one and I was so excited. ANOTHER HOWLING MOVIE!!! As bad as that thing is I loved when I was little. Loved the opening shots of all the Transylvania country side. The werewolf paintings on the monastery walls. the skulls everywhere!! Just awesome! The song that the punk band played was sooo cool. I taped it onto cassette. The dwarf with no eyes scared me silly and oh yes the 15 times rip off your velcro shirt Sybil Danning.

What a terrible movie. Gots love for it though.

Like you i've watched it repeatedly...it's like a cobra rising from a basket, fascinating in its' awfulness. Given how much I love "The Howling", seeing this toilet of a movie places it on my personal list of the all time worst. (P.S.=I Love bad movies too!)

I first saw it around four years ago on TV. I came out of the experience feeling like the movie hated me as much as I hated it. So godawful, so painful to watch. It was like a train wreck.

When I first saw this movie it was sometime in the 90's. I am not sure but it was on The USA Network when I saw this movie on. When I was younger I never was a horror movie fan because my parents did not like these kinds of movies but now that I am older I love watching them.

I sat and watched this and The USA Network had some great programming back in the day but not anymore now because they no longer show movies like this anymore and they got rid of a late night weekend show called USA UP ALL NIGHT!

Just thinking about those days bring back some great memories you know. I have seen this on cable TV and about a year or two ago saw this on Showtime. I said I will watch this since it is on here. I am pleased that I did because the nude scenes are great about this movie!

So that is my first experience in watching this movie.

It is such a shame they dont have such programming as Up All Night anymore. Now if you want to see Rhonda Shear you can tune into her "Ahh Bra" infomercials. fitting :) but how about Jo Bob Briggs??? They could at least play re-runs. Elvira had a great comeback there for a minute but now that too has passed. Now-n-days it can be Friday the 13th on the calender and you can't find a marathon anywhere! what's up with that???

I agree with you there that they do not have programming such as USA UP ALL NIGHT on anymore or Monster Vision either. Yes but the commercials are not the same dude. She is not showing B movies or horror films in her AHH Bra commercials. Since no network wanted to pick up USA UP ALL NIGHT once again Rhonda has created her own network on ROKU box and there you can see USA UP ALL NIGHT once again pretty soon. There will be a choice of old USA UP ALL NIGHT episodes or the new USA UP ALL NIGHT episodes that Rhonda is working on now. I mentioned last year when I met Joe Bob Briggs that I was trying to get USA UP ALL NIGHT back on that possibly if that happens then Monster Vision could make a come back or the other way around. He looked at me and just said, "I do not know?" with his shoulders. No they do not have marathons of Friday The 13th anymore like they once did before due to USA Network getting bought out by NBC and NBC does not want to have movie marathons of Friday The 13th or Halloween movies for the time of October to scare us at all.

Well that's pretty bad-ace at least that you got to meet Joe Bob and give him your appreciation.. maybe should've told him it's time for some come-back-fu :)
... hey and if NBC doesn't want to scare us they should spare us America's Got Talent

Yes it was cool to meet Joe Bob Briggs all right and I let him know how much I appreciated what he was showing on Monster Vision back when TNT also had better programming than what they do now.

I agree with you that they should spare us with America's Got Talent, but they want to cram it down our throats like they do anything else guy if it is popular to watch.
