Return of the Jedi was initially going to be titled "Revenge of the Jedi"

It's true..

Thanks for the scoop there...

Incidentally, there were advance posters produced and sent to cinemas for Revenge Of The Jedi, but they were recalled when the title changed.

But a lot of people held on to them...and they are worth a few quid these days.

Why would they be worth anything at all?

Scarcity is a prized commodity among collectors.

There are lots of inauthentic, reproduction ones. You can pick up a copy on Amazon for a few dollars, but the real ones from 1983 can fetch these kinds of prices: https://atthemovies.uk/products/379-revenge-of-the-jedi-1983?variant=39405211320400

Actually he is his father's, brother's, nephew's, cousin's, former roommate.

I bet Luke was Green and Cross about that

Thanks for sharing. I always thought the original title was "Star Wars, the George Lucas Wookie Senile Bullshit"

Luke & Leia are siblings..

Yes and Lucas originally asked David Lynch to direct it.

In which case it would have been entitled "Return of Eraserhead."
