How many of you
Hated this movie upon seeing it for the first time but ended up seeing it as a good film later on?
shareHated this movie upon seeing it for the first time but ended up seeing it as a good film later on?
shareIt's a fun one.
shareI actually liked it when I first saw it in the theater.
shareI am guilty of this.
shareI loved it because there was no Michael Myers in it. He is such an evil demented person. I didn't miss him
shareActually Micheal did appear in it

He wasn't a character in this movie. Are you referring to just a picture of him like what they did in Friday the 13th part 5?
shareWatch the movie.
sharei will not
shareYou're rude
shareWhy? You won’t take my word for it so I just give some advise so you can verify it yourself.
shareI thought you could give me the scene when he showed up in the movie. I don't recall seeing him at all and I got a great memory
shareThis coy fellow is obviously relying on a technicality. A couple times in HIII you see the original Halloween being broadcast on tv. The first time is about 20 minutes in when Dr. Challis is wetting his whistle at a bar near the hospital. In an advert playing on the television above the bar you briefly see Michael Myers scuttling down a stairwell chasing after Laurie.
shareWasn't the first Halloween movie on a TV or something?
shareI'm ashamed to admit in my teens I was a shithead slasher fanboy. I never bothered to watch this film because it had no Michael Myers. So I didn't hate it but I completely dismissed it as an non-entity.
I finally watched it about a decade back and liked it. I've seen it about 2 more times since then. It's good film.
I think many people avoided H3 after hearing that Michael wasn't in it.
I think it's a great standalone film. To me, Michael died in H2 1981.
I wish Carpenter had went with the anthology idea. It could have been interesting but people were hung up on MM.
It would have been an ok film without robots. Good score by Carpenter, though.
shareI agree with you
shareI’m with you. Michael Myers died at the end of Halloween II along with Doctor Loomis. So wish the John Carpenter anthology idea had succeeded.
shareI wouldn't say I hated it on my first viewing but I definitely grew to really like it upon further viewings.
shareAlways liked it but Ive always liked Tom Atkins.
shareOh! That would have been me. I was all about the slashers in the 80s and wanted a hulking killer. It grew on me over the years, and I really like it now. Well, all but that stupid Silver Shamrock song that just popped in my head as I was typing this.
