Fans DEMAND a REMAKE

It's time to update Fast Times at Ridgemont High, it's just gotten too old and just sin't holding up in today's marketplace. A remake will re-do the movie to make it better for the 2000's.

Cast:
Jeff Spicoli: Ashton Kutcher
Stacey: Lindsay Lohan
Linda: Megan Fox
Brad: Jason Segel
Mike Damone: Ben Affleck
Rat: Shia leBouf
Mr. Hand: Richard Dreyfuss
Jefferson: Terry Crews
Mr. Vargas: Michael Richards

This is a well-balanced star studded cast with a blend of nice young and old characters. The fans are demanding a remake so hopefully the studious will finally listen and get this made.

This movie just can't be made in any time other than the early 80s.

reply

No.

Thank you everyone in this thread for shutting down the OP's horrific idea. Ugh.

And that list of actors...I weep for this current generation.

*beep* remakes! Never saw the point in them, and they always suck!

reply

To paraphrase Mr. Hand: Are you on dope?

The idea of a remake is ridiculous. Perhaps an update showing some of the original cast, maybe Judge Reinhardt as a clueless dad of a high school student. Call it "Return To Ridgemont High". But a remake? No.

reply

You misspelled the title. I believe you meant "Fan demands a remake.

This is a terrible cast by the way. All of these people are too old and were when you first made this list.

Also unnecessary. Amazing movie, remake would just taint it.

Communism was just a Red herring!

People are getting sick of all these stupid remakes - especially people old enough to appreciate the original Fast Times!

Remakes are just the studios' attempts to cash in on the names of famous films of the past, and "update" them with social media, cellphones, and freaking hip-hop; the true fans of Fast Times DON'T WANT THAT, and any remake attempt will suck!

You're joking, aren't you?

"Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?"

reply

Fans will never, ever demand a remake. Look around you. Do you like this age of reboots and unnecessary sequels? They do nothing but ruin the good reputations of the fine films that came before them.

The day Chuck Norris dies is the day the world ends.
