Why do people say it's boring ?

I don't find it boring at all. I find it intriguing and thought provoking, which keeps me interested the entire time.

The population, in general, has been greatly dumbed-down. If something doesn't go BOOM! every thirty seconds, they consider the movie boring.

I’m not sure but I think it’s one of those movie that kinda grows on you after you watch it a few times. Really good action and of course amazing visually.

reply

After you watch it a few times? Not sure how you were able to do that.

reply

Thats not much of a problem with a stable mindset!

reply

Some people are just easily bored I suppose.

I love this movie. But it IS boring. It's very slow, it has many sequences which just grind the nature of this future into you. The more you watch it, the more you get out of it, as you come to understand these characters and the lives they lead. But to the casual. Very boring indeed.

So doing a movie with storyline and world building equals boring for you. I see why most movies are simply called content these daze. Cause consumers like you get what they deserve.

reply

I love a lot about this movie. I still say it is boring. There are scenes in that movie that forever to happen.

reply

Thats called acting and bulding up a believable world, contentconsumer!

That's how I feel about it. Some movies are designed to be soaked in, and this is one of them. You can't come to those films with the expectation that it will be constant adrenaline stimulation. I think people get bored because of three possible things:

a) They expect the movie to be more action-oriented, or in some way come in with an expectation the movie can't meet.

b) They don't engage with the material in the way that you or I do. In other words, they don't find it thought-provoking, so they just find it dull.

c) They have a short(er) attention span.

I suppose it could be a combination of those things, too. But I think if somebody starts pondering the nature of humanity and being curious about whether or not Deckard will get there, they will enjoy the film.

Unless futuristic dystopians and robot rights are your thing, it is a boring movie.

I personally like it for its visuals and soundtrack over the storyline.

reply

This movie is only about humans, contentconsumer! And how we evolve (or not).

*double facepalm*

reply

Idk. I gave up reading your post after "don't" because it was too dull.
