sharei love basket case 1 its a brilliant film considering its budget.2 and 3 arnt much cop the freaks in it way over the top and unbeleivable yet kevin vanhentenryk is as good as ever in all 3 films.its about time a 4th was underway but lets keep it beleivable.the people who made the first should make it.

Wow, glad I'm not alone in liking this movie...I remember seeing the original coverart of this movie on the videostore shelf in the early 80s and seeing that guy all hacked up and thought man what a scary looking movie, but I just didnt have the balls to watch it at that time and soon forgot about it (this was like '83-'84) Then when I was around 22-23 (1995 or '96) I remember stepping into a videostore that was going out of business and was pleasantly suprised to see it sitting on the shelf and purchased it along with Dice Rules 1991 for like 4 dollars total on VHS tapes...I played BC on my VCR first and fell in love with it right away...I still have an ex that asks me if I still have a copy of it and yes, I still do although I re-bought it on DVD in '01. (tape was played out at that point literally & figuratively)
Master card player? Resort casino owner?? or SS car enthusiast??? Make your best guess!

I loved this movie when it came out. My mates and I watched it over and over back in the early eighties. I've not seen it now for at least 20 years and I'd love to see it again sometime, it's still not available here in the UK on DVD yet but I guess I'm just going to have to wait for it.

Yo to you all, my girlfriend and I are both big Basket Case fans (the first being by far the greatest) We might try to construct a Belial with paper mache :) so yes, here is another big Basket Case fan. I live in England and managed to pick up the palace vhs of this film which is great as it has an original art sleeve (not just some simple print etc) and being and old tape it adds even more grain the already grimey look of the film :)
Check this out; I just picked up from (fabpress.com) an XL Basket Case t-shirt. The print is Belial peeping out a slighlty open wicker basket and the main bloody film title underneath AWESOME! I bought it with the Zombie flesh eaters cd soundtrack!
anyone from this post check out www.myspace.com/drfreudstein (don't worry Bob mummy will get you out!) and add me, i like the idea of meeting new fans etc
-i can't believe they put belial in a bin bag post seperation :,(
Another fan here, although Frankenhooker was funnier.
