My best guess is that it was in the script - therefore, Murphy, as an actor earning a paycheck would say that with no issue. Also, who cares about the "n-words" and the "hicks" and all that shit? This is what movies were like back in the day before the Cunt Brigade came to life.

Also take into account that Eddie Murphy is very big on improvisation. (Drove Lorne Michaels crazy on SNL) He may have put a lot of those lines in himself while feeling out the scene.
