Ending...Brian shouldn't have died!

You know the theory that Christianity would have never spread if Jesus had never been killed....Seeing as Brian was not a messiah, the ending would have been funnier and made more sense if Brian have been rescued from the crucifixion at the last moment (and he goes like, "NoNo please don't save me...Oh crap, now I can't have my own religion!" :D

We don't know that he did. Lots of people getting rescued.

I was going to say the same. I haven't seen it for a very long while, but I don't remember anything that said he died.

Pardoned prisoners would usually join Pilate for the feast, so he'd recognise that it wasn't Bwwrian and probably swap them.
