Age of fans?
Just wondering what the age is of Monkees fans. I'm 46 and have loved them since I was about 5. I still have the vinyl records and play them too.

share44. It's nice to know I'm not the only "older" fan out there. :) I was with my eight-year-old son in the shopping centre and I'm a Believer started playing which instantly grabbed his attention.
"Hear that?" he asked. "That's from Shrek 1." I almost laughed because I remember listening to it when I was almost the same age he is, long before Shrek 1.
57 and loved them since they appeared on prime-time tv.
shareI'm 54 and had to watch these on our B&W TV. We didn't get our first color set till '71. I'm sure I saw them in color as reruns Saturday mornings also.
share42 and been a fan since I was 14. Still listen to them at least every other week.

55.... I also have the records and sweet memories of when I crushed.
It's great to see so many younger fans!
Pardon me for overhearing. My ear was pressed against the door.
I've 58 and have loved them since I was 13 when they were first on! Well, actually not until the second season...but that's another story.
Micky was my first crush because he was so funny, but that quickly turned into Davy. I met my lifetime friends thanks to being a Monkee fan and will always be grateful to them for that.
I recall as a little kid in the mid 70's being exposed to the Monkees by my playmates during the summer. I thought it was a funny show then and still do.
shareI'm 44 and have loved them since I was 3, when I had my first tv boyfriend crush on Micky. :)
I own the tv show box set and a compilation of all their music.
Everytime I watch the show or hear their music, I feel like I'm that little girl again, excited about watching the Monkees reruns on Saturday morning.

Age 38. I'm part of the "second generation" of fans who got hooked on them when Nick at Nite started showing the episodes in the eighties. My uncle actually had a couple of their albums on vinyl and when I became a fan he let me have them. Still like the shows. My only disappointment with the release on DVD is that some of the music is different than what I saw when the shows were on Nick. A couple of episodes specifically were better with that music, lol.
shareI'm 16.
shareI'll be 50 in May. It's not scary being that age when you're still cute. :^)

LMAO! That's the spirit...I will be 49 next month and vaguely remember them first run. But definitely started watching them religiously when they ran them on Saturday mornings :))) One of my earliest musical memories is being 4 and loving Daydream Believer on the radio. Will miss Davy terribly.
