Best-Looking Beatle

All of them are surprisingly good-looking (surprising cos they're all in the one band, really famous and talented and all)! Well, OK, Ringo maybe not, but he's just so darned adorable! So vote now - the most gorgeous Beatle! And I'll be the vote counter if over five people are bothered to reply to this overtly superficial thread.

I'll say Paul, even though I love John too, cos he's very very very cute.

Could those of you in the cheaper seats clap? And the rest of you just rattle your jewellery

The most gorgeous Beatle? It's a tie between George and Ringo...
George is the hottest,
Ringo the cutest.

reply

George hands down!

How can you not say he's the best-looking?

It's a thingy! A fiendish thingy! Run Ringo![Help!-1965]

reply

I might be the only one who doesn't think George is the best looking Beatle.
Going just on how they look in "Help!", I'd have to say John. I love his personality and how funny he was. Paul was okay, and Ringo was cute sometimes. George didn't really do anything for me.

reply

JOHN WINSTON LENNON!!

reply

It's a tie between Stu Sutcliffe & Pete Best, of course!

"I'm confused...wait...maybe I'm not."

reply

I'd say John though they were all good looking in different ways.

reply

George is the best looking Beatle. They are all cute though!

Agreed! I really don't see why everyone is picking George...

reply

John, JOhn, JOhn. Although he called this his "Fat Elvis" period, I thought he was absolutely gorgeous during this time. I was never a fan of the glasses even though he does look pretty good in Let It Be with them.

reply

I think Paul is the cutest...

reply

I would say Paul but they are all easy on the eyes

John! I think he is so handsome. And I think Ringo is adorable! He's got a great smile. But if I had to pick one it would be John, no doubt about it.

reply

They're all the best in their own ways but IMO George is....

We are all the same because we are all different

My list:

John (DEFINATELY not in his Sgt. Peppers days... with that festy little moustache.
Paul + George (they're both so cute that i can't decide!)
Ringo (who sometimes looks good)

P.S
did anyone notice that paul has the hugest butt ever? i noticed that when they're all playing on the beach...

reply

How about when he crawls up on that tank? Good lord! And I mean that in a good way!

reply

George hands down! He looks great in jeans and a button up shirt:)

reply

I love Paul and John in this. they both look very good

George was the only one who remained hot all throughout the career span of The Beatles? I have four words for you: The Abbey Road Beard. Now that was unfortunate! Why would a gorgeous man like that allow his facial hair to take him over in such a strange and unusual way? All the Beatles did that at one point, except for little Ringo. I think he's the only one who always looked cute, which is strange because to me he's the least attractive one.

What makes you think you're something special when you smile?

reply

GEORGE GEORGE GEORGE!!! hansome, cute, hot, great voice, aweseom bone structure and beautiful eyes.

reply

There's only one answer: THE CUTE ONE!!!! He was perfection back then. Those eyes alone just KILL ME!

Paul was the sexiest man ever! I cannot watch something relating to The Beatles without gazing into those huge, droopy, puppy dog eyes that make me melt everytime! But I have to say that my favorite Paul ever is during the whole "Magical Mystery Tour" time. The movie was a bit, er... strange, but Paul looked bloody perfect! The hair, the face, everthing.. Go on youtube and watch "The Fool on the Hill" video and you'll see what I mean! Not to mention, he says my name in that movie!!! *squeeee!*

A VERRRRRRY close second is George.. Damn, that man was perfect! I think he looks the best on the cover of "Beatles for Sale." It's the wallpaper on my desktop and I find myself staring at him when I really should be working on something more productive! His lips just look sooo kissable!

Again, John is verrrrry close too. I agree that he looks a lot better with some meat on his bones (circa 1964-65) and I love how he used to hold his guitar really high and he'd have his feet shoulder width apart and one knee was always bent more than the other.. As you can tell, I have dissected John's guitar stance! LOL! I also love the fact that he spoke his mind and could laugh at himself. If you've never seen the boys do their rendition of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" I suggest you check it out! It's genius!

And, poor Ringo. Now, I don't think he was as hot as his fellow bandmates but he was so adorable. The scene in "A Hard Day's Night" when he's walking by himself through London just makes him look sooo cute! Everytime I watch it, I just want to walk through the TV, take his hand, and walk with him! haha!

So there you go... ahhh, the Beatles. The most amazing musicians ever!

Pete Best was the most popular until they kicked him out.

Pete Best was beautiful, but I don't really consider him a true member of the band because anyone who doesn't know loads about the Beatles before they were doesn't know a lot about him. Even before he was their drummer the boys partied with Ringo. Pete was still very pretty, though. I still think Paul was the best-looking because of his angel face, John was beautiful in his youth before he took on the granny glasses, George was quiet handsome and probably is the one I'd be most drawn to, although it must be said that despite everything, Ringo was endearing - and he had a smile to die for.

Pete was one of the Beatles when they were in Hamburg and Cavern. The others had to bow their heads down so that the ladies saw Pete singing "Matchbox". Fans loved him at least as much as any other Beatle.

I don't agree. At the time, sure, but not in history. Pete was just some guy who happened to be with them at the time. Stuart Sutcliff was more of a Beatle than Pete. He wasn't part of the Fab Four line-up. As someone said before, anyone who didn't know the Beatles before they were wouldn't have known much about him. Besides, they always say that they didn't hang out with Pete, and even before Ringo was a Beatle he was their friend. They took Pete on literally five minutes before they left for Germany! After all, history shows that Ringo was the member of the band, not Pete.

That said, Pete was very nice looking, though I think Paul was cuter.

+ + + + +
I didn't vote for him.

reply

Well you have to agree with the early days. Beatles never knew in 1962 how popular they would become. Enough of citing anthology and saying what George Harrison said that Ringo was the member of the band. Ringo didn't get full approval before the American tour, before that it was Lennon/McCartney and the other band. Musically there was nothing Pete couldn't do what Ringo did. George also confessed that they were mean to Pete.

I would have sacked Pete too if I had been John Lennon, but I don't think Sutcliffe was ever more Beatle than Yoko Ono was. Paul disliked Stu quite much because he couldn't play and Stu was never a member in the Quarry Men - John took Sutcliffe to the band only to keep Paul getting too much influence over the group. Stu and Yoko were about the same thing but Pete was at least a musician and it was he and Paul who were arrested by German police because of their prank.

Not enough to dislike Ringo forever. Stuart Sutcliff is more of a Beatle in my opinion because he was actually friends with the group. Pete, I feel, was "the drummer the Beatles fired before hiring Ringo".

Hmmmm, I always thought the Beatles were the hottest before Astrid cut their hair and Brian Epstein got rid of the leather. Paul was totally hot in the Hamburg days when he had the Elvis hair, and the leather pants, and so was John. Pete Best was good looking too, I can see why he was a girlie favourite. They are all cute in their own way, but just for fun if I was looking for one of them to date, and it was before 1964, it would be Paul first, then George, Ringo, then John. Stuart Sutcliffe was okay, but most of the photos I've seen of him, he is wearing dark glasses so you can't see his face.
I think Ringo and George have the best personalities, being the funniest too.
I think Paul is the best singer, and John is the deep thinker.

I really didn't like how any of them looked after 1966, especially in the 70s when Paul and Linda had the same hair, but they all got better looking in the 80s and 90s. John looked okay in 1980.

reply

I'd have to go with Stuart Sutcliff.

Aw, heck, I'll reply, even though no one's replied in at least a month.
Looking at pictures, definitely George. Paul is adorable and has pretty eyes, and, I think, is the most photogenic. John was quite good looking in the early days, but, as others have said, the Yoko days were awful. Ringo really isn't unattractive, either. His big nose fits him.

So, yea, in that order. =]

To me Paul was the best looking. Gorgeous eyes and all that stuff. He still is quite good-looking, to be perfectly honest.

But I'd be far more attracted to someone like John. He was very beautiful, and that doubled with his attitude and humour makes him much more prone to catch my eye.

George was a real looker as well. I also adore Ringo. He's so awkwardly good-looking. And along with Paul, he's the one who aged the best, in my opinion. (although I can't count John, really, and George is VERY close third. haha)

...I can really bs my way through any question. :P
