DR STRANGELOVE IS NOT A COMEDY! I was so disappointed with this movie. Watching it, I felt like this was a serious war drama/thriller. I love Kubrick's other movies, but this one is in the wrong genre. It has its iconic moments, and Peter Sellers was good (not in a comedic way), but it is overall mediocre at best. Airplane is a much better disaster comedy. This movie has not aged well. It just wasn't funny. TDK is much better IMO.
