I'm starting a poll for the greatest movies all time and I would like people to vote which films they think are. If you could please give a list of 5 movies then I will collect votes and give a list. thank you

Honorable Mentions: Schindler's List (1993), The Godfather (1972), Gandhi (1982), The Lord of the Rings (2001-2003) and Hero (2002).

I've seen all of those films except for The Third Man. I'm shocked to see The Apartment not only on your list, but #1?! Was not impressed at all with that one, but everybody has their own tastes.

I have watched 61 of the afi's 100 greatest movies. Here are some of my favorites:

1) The Godfather
2) Unforgiven
3) Rocky
4) North by Northwest
5) Do The Right Thing
6) Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
7) The Silence of the Lambs
8) It's a Wonderful Life
9) West Side Story
10) To Kill a Monkingbird

There are others that I really enjoyed. These are just my top ten. I hope that helps.
