She has very mundane and forgettable face. And there is nothing special about her. That why. You cant peak her out in a crowd.
She has 36 millions on Insta now and it just shows how irrelevant those numbers for real popularity and career are.
She just hasn't found a role that will cement her as a leading lady. Besides Love Simon and Knives Out (which she was good in but wasn't the stand out from either film) which are the only other things I know her for, none of her other leading roles haven't become 13 Reasons Why breakout hits. She hasn't made a movie since 2020 and has focused all her time on TV.
She probably should have done a few of those cheesy romantic films her younger sister knocks out on regular basis. While doing the odd more challenging roles on TV. She's only 27, I wouldn't write her off yet but she needs to find another hit fast.
27 is another reason why her career went nowhere. She aged out of that "17-22 years old school girl" she used to play. Now other, younger, pretty faces replaced her. Thats how it happens all the time.
She is not talented enough to be leading lady and bring viewers to go into adult roles. Hollywood is very competitive. There are thousands of one-hit actors that can get one famous role and then vanish. Maybe sometimes it need to have desire to just knock at every door and go to every audition. In hope to get another good role. Maybe she is not trying hard enough.
Maybe she is one of those actors who just sits and waits for their agent to call and announce they are being invited to audition for big role. Only few can get on top.
There are lots of young charismatic actresses on Yellowjackets. All of them will probably vanish after show will end.
