Kamala calls for violence in her concession speech

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/06/us/politics/harris-concession-speech.html

“Hear me when I say, the light of America’s promise will always burn bright,” she added. “As long as we never give up. And as long as we keep FIGHTING"

Sounds a lot like insurrection talk. President Trump immediately on day 1 needs to form a committee to look into her dangerous and violent rhetoric and then we may be looking at prosecution for her. Also the committee needs to be packed with Republicans, no Democrats allowed.

reply

yes.

they will never see the irony.

reply

She's a violent extremist and needs to be held accountable. Trump cannot let her off the hook like he did Hillary.

reply

I don’t think she really meant physical violence. But I am old enough to have seen many concession speeches. The candidate who lost was always a good sport, thanks the supporters, and was gracious to his opponent.
She just seemed seriously p&ssed off.

reply

“The candidate who lost was always a good sport, thanks the supporters, and was gracious to his opponent.”

Dude… c’mon now… recent history begs to differ. Did Trump even make a concession speech after losing to Biden? The whole “let’s march on the Capital” thing notwithstanding.

reply

President Trump was impeached and investigating for 2 years by a fake, far left witch hunt committee for far less. I want to see the same standards applied to Kamala. She did call for violence and should be held accountable for this and her roles in 7-13 and 9-15.

Also Donald Trump is 100% irrelevant in this discussion. Kamala should be praising President Trump for his victory and uniting around him because when he succeeds as a president America succeeds as a nation. Instead she’s again calling for him to be assassinated. Kamala’s behavior after losing the election is unpatriotic to say the least.

reply

Well thanks for the input Bob but my question was to pj, and I would suggest it is 100% relevant to his claim that all previous candidates have been graceful in defeat.

reply

You’re welcome, now is the time for unity, you need to support President Trump and accept the fact that we won, you lost and that you don’t matter anymore.

reply

Sure, I can support him if you really, really want me to. I’m not entirely convinced that support will make much difference coming from New Zealand, but if it puts a smile on your dial, let’s do it.

I didn’t lose a thing personally, other than a few amused chuckles at the result.

reply

Dude? Hey, my pronouns are she and her! lol. I said that I saw “many “ concession speeches. Since Trump never gave one, I didn’t see his!

No use going into the whole stolen election thing, people will believe what they want.

reply

There is a mountain of evidence 2020 was stolen, but by all means, keep your head in the sand.

reply

Are you referring to me? I don’t think my head is in the sand. I was merely trying to avoid an argument with the other poster! If you say the election was stolen, you are immediately called a sore loser. And that’s the nicest thing they will call you.

reply

I misunderstood.
Apologies.
Good day!

reply

She’s a sad, bitter, brainless twit. She was not gracious at all, she’s a sore crybaby loser and needs to re-evaluate her life. What’s truly scary is that someone as unqualified as she was made it as far as she did. Measures need to be taken to ensure that someone like her never reaches the positions of power that she did.

reply

Yes, that law degree and years in the political arena made her totally unqualified. Perhaps if she had hosted a reality show and had countless failed business ventures it might have made her a more appropriate candidate. Sadly, she was just a politician. SHE’S FIRED! 🙃

reply

She started her political career by going down on Willie Brown, she did not get one single primary vote in 2020 and she was given the Vice Presidency and the nomination because of her race and gender. Yes she is unqualified and just listen to the bitch speak, she can barely put forth a coherent sentence.

reply

I don’t think the B word was necessary. Let’s try to be civil.

I’m clearly not going to change your mind on the matter. Which is fine, I don’t really want to. Congratulations on the win.

reply

Well considering Kamala has nothing resembling civility by calling her a bitch I am in fact being civil.

reply

That sounds a bit like an overreaction, I’ve been watching and I haven’t seen her curse at her opponent. Granted she made no bones about her disdain for him, but always in a measured way from what I saw.

But sure, if you think bitch is the best way to describe her I’m not going to stop you. It just comes across quite aggressively and I think critique with manners is more effective, but we’re all different and each to their own.

reply

She called Trump “Hitler”, she should be thankful that a “bitch” is all I called her.

reply

Hello Kiwi Jim. Since you chose to spend time in beautiful New Zealand, you may not have been privy to much of Ms Harris' rise to influence. It is fair, proper, and well documented to say she was "loose in the caboose" whilst climbing the ladder.

She also failed the California Bar Exam on her first try. True, many do not pass initially. JFK jr. got lucky on his third try. (Requiescat in pace)

VP Harris has, at best, a questionable record in California. This board is anonymous, but one can never be certain to whom one speaks.

reply

My "favorite" part of the concession speech was that it was held at her alma mater Howard University, which we all know is a black university. Kamala is half Indian and half Jamaican. Her Jamaican side is 70% black. So, she is less than one half black. How did she get into Howard in the first place? Don't you have to be black?

Throughout her life, she has apparently wanted to be black and ran as a black candidate. Which appealed to few, including blacks. But, she's obviously still at it.

reply

Yeah she's as much black as she is a former McDonald's Employee.

reply

dems are so fucking daft that they don't even get the jokoe behind a post like this

EVEN WHEN IT'S LOW HANGING FRUIT lmao

reply

Sounds a lot like insurrection talk.

Sauce for the gander is sauce for the goose.

reply

Yep , if the left wants to bitch and moan about insurrections I can throw their logic right back at them.

reply

That's what we thought too. Her speech was definitely not about unity with the winning candidate, it was a call to action. She'll never get it.

reply

Kamala and the Democrats should be uniting around Trump and support him in saving America because when Trump succeeds , America succeeds

reply

I agree 100% but she's too myopic and too extreme to even think of that. I just hope that some of her followers and some of her ilk realize that most Americans do not want what they're selling and perhaps they should rethink things and try - just try - to unite with the new President. But they probably won't.
