Think about it: Bernie Madoff got people to "invest" in his pyramid scheme by telling them how they were fellow Jews, so they needed to support him by buying what he was selling. Then, he took their money. So, you have people in the Jewish community who will use their background to lure people in just to get their money, use them, whatever. All groups do this. Whites, blacks, Latinos, Asians, any religion, nationality, etc. When someone wants to use you, they will use you.
Carano shouldn't trust Shapiro with her career, or count on his keeping her career going.
And why should she trust Shapiro with her career? They're not marrying, they're just making a movie.
This will benefit both of them. Carano stays in the spotlight after this mess, which is good for her career. Shapiro gets tons of marketing. It's a win-win for both.

Mainly his shows and one film as producer. I think Carano could easily get projects like Gibson has, or better. She should be working on that too.

For reasons that seem to be a continuation of her extremely poor judgment, Carano decided that attempting to repair the career damage caused by her stupidity was too difficult and so she would now revitalize things by developing a vehicle with an untried individual during a pandemic after being fired by the most powerful player in Hollywood. If that sounds like terrible idea, itβs because it is. Carano needs to go in another direction, but she doesnβt seem to realize that for herself.
At best, the Carano/Shapiro pairing will be a minor hit, and Carano can eke out a living in direct-to video and streaming projects for the remainder of her life. At worst, Disney will put out the word that working with Carano means that you canβt work with them. That will result in her becoming an even greater pariah than she is now and it will end her viability as a performer in English language productions filmed and financed in North America.,
Again, I noted from the beginning: Who cares?
