Compared to Mini-Mike, Rudy, Dinkins ... he seemed to be more hated than all of them even though he won his elections by bigger margins than they did.

There are more people in NYC now than ever before that's why he won by more... not to mention the insane amount of voter fraud that occurs in New York. In NY voter fraud goes all the way back to the Tammany Hall days. As for how he ranks by the people living in NT, he is reviled by New Yorker's that live outside of the city. However, it seems like the people living in the city love him.

Population size isn’t the cause. De Blasio won by a larger percentage (not number) than Bloomberg and Rudy did

New Yorkers are basically stupid. Previous mayors turned NY into one of the safest big cities in the world, and certainly the safest big city in the U.S. But what the hell, let's vote in a Marxist POS who hates cops and law enforcement in general. The inmates are once again running the asylum.

My wife and I used to travel to the city several times a year to catch a show and dinner. Since DeBlasio turned NY into a warzone, we won't go near it.

I live on Long Island. I can attest to the fact that De Blasio has run the city into the ground. It went from a mostly safe environment into one of crime infected chaos. I will not go into the city either. Sadly, the people living in the city seem to prefer it that way. Even though they claim to be higher educated, and more enlightened than the rest of the country, city folk aren't too bright...

Really bad, criminals are emboldened.
They were dumping and throwing water at police with no consequence for a period of time.
Time square is the most unsafe it's been since the 80s.
There liberal Democrats refuse to enforce laws like pissing in public, graffiti, public intoxication and drug use.

The most backward of leadership.

His wife got a billion dollar grant, billion...and they have nothing to show for it.

Ny voters must be sadistic.
