Look at the Bucs fans celebrating in their hundreds, ignoring social distancing and not wearing masks.
Idiots.
shareIdiots.
shareFlorida Man
shareGood for them. Life is meant to be lived, not feared.
shareWell their grandparents will die, so much for living.
sharePeople in their 80’s? I think they already lived their lives
shareThankfully you are in the minority with that mindset.
shareMaybe. But people make their choices and live with them.
shareLife is not measured by the breathes that we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
shareWell my life sucks than...😪
shareThe world is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. The ride goes up and down, around and around, it has thrills and chills, and it's very brightly colored, and it's very loud, and it's fun for a while. Many people have been on the ride a long time, and they begin to wonder, "Hey, is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and say, "Hey, don't worry; don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride." And we … kill those people. "Shut him up! I've got a lot invested in this ride, shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry, look at my big bank account, and my family. This has to be real." It's just a ride. But we always kill the good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok … But it doesn't matter, because it's just a ride. And we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. Just a simple choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defences each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.”
shareI think you'd be surprised how wrong you are.
shareMy grandmother is 99. She knows she isn't going to live much longer. She also knows that she doesn't want to die from Covid. Especially if that means she will have to die alone in a hospital with no one allowed to visit her and be with her.
Those who are 80 still could have another 20 years. Who are you to take that away from them when the least you could do is wear a mask, and not gather in groups?
And then everyone clapped
shareWhat?
shareIt’s Like one of those implausible scenarios you see on Twitter. My 4yo said xyz etc. Clearly it didn’t happen etc.
Your meemaw if she really is 99 has lived her life. The rest of us aren’t going to live in some Karen policed dystopia to satisfy the life extension of geriatrics.
The lockdowns have done untold damage to people’s psychological well being. Suicides and other ailments Are up, masks have also contributed to pollution and lung infections.
Spare us that whole high and mighty “think of my grandma” schtick. Think of students committing suicide because selfish “teachers” Have Transformed into union goons shaking down communities to stay home and get paid to do nothing.
Yeah, over 2 million people have died from Covid. Not all of them are my grandma's age.
I really hope you aren't serious about teachers. Holy shit! You try ensuring kids are getting an education when you are trying to teach them online. Teachers aren't doing nothing. Do not judge what you have no idea of.
Where is the proof that masks cause lung infections?
If people actually followed the guidelines when this started, they wouldn't be in lockdown now. Because of all of these get togethers, protests, riots, parties what ever, it's just going to keep going. So yeah, call me selfish for wanting my grandma (certainly not meemaw) to not die alone in a hospital. Also, it is something that happened and I've mentioned her here more than once. So, yeah. Applause for you assuming and making an ass out of yourself.
The places that have followed the lockdowns are showing comparable numbers, thats the point. Covid is one more thing of many that can kill us....but probably won't. It sucks, but lets move on.
shareAnd that man's name?
Albert Einstein.
If your grandma was really 99, she'd be pretty fucking dumb to spend her last years (if she's lucky) missing out on enjoying life, simply out of fear. If she decided she was that afraid, i guess she has every right to quarantine herself from the world aa much as she pleases, but definitely don't expect other people to share her fear or expectation to hide from other people for an undetermined amount of time.
shareOh fuck off. Why the hell would I lie about my grandmother's age???
Where are these places that are showing the same numbers that locked down? I'm talking closing borders and did so from the beginning? There are quite a few countries that seem to be doing okay. My country not so much. But we also have people who won't wear masks or follow guidelines because their freedoms are more important.
Over 2 million people have died. This isn't a normal flu. The reason why we are trying to slow the spread is so hospitals can keep up. It's so that people who don't have Covid can still get treated.
Oh, and just in case you're new, people have a tendancy to lie on the internet.
sharePeople in their 80s are about to die no matter what. Even still, those in their 80s with no serious comorbidities are still much more likely to survive it than die from it. What is baffling to me is the fact we have plenty of data on this virus and know it isn't much worse than the flu, but we still insist on crashing the world economy to protect ourselves from this virus that almost everyone survives.
Most people in their 60's (even 50's) and older have some issues though. Most People unfortunately do not take good care of them.
Youth is fleeting as they say. We live most of our lives as old people...lol
Complete assumption based on fear.
How do you know that the people there will see there grandparents? You Don't
How do you know they haven't decided to self isolate afterwards? You Don't
How do you know they haven't decided to get tested afterwards? You Don't
You are just making an assumption based on no evidence whatsoever about those people.
I know because the USA has the most Covid-19 cases and deaths in the entire world because people like them don’t seem to care about distancing.
The figures are there to see. And now there’ll be a spike in Tampa.
I am selfish. I live life for me and mine, and no one else.
shareSome people want to enjoy life and don't lock themselves away just because Lord Fraudchi told them to. It must be terrible to be you.
shareNo one deserves any spontaneous eruptions of joy these days. We must measure our happiness by current standards.
shareYou're a sheep Jbran. I bet you wear 3 masks while driving in your car. I bet you believe everything you see in the news and everything you read on social media without even questioning the source. I bet you do every single thing that the government tells you, because they know what's best for you. I bet you cower inside your home living in fear like an obedient little sheep. I bet you mask shame every person you see with their masks down, even outside in the open air. I bet you wipe every single surface down before touching it. I bet you'd smear dog shit in your mask if Dr. Fauci told you to. Good luck with that life, if you can call that living.
shareYou're such a free thinker!
shareYou must be a Trump fan Sweet. Hope you are ok.
