I used to believe IQ tests were the standard for intelligence measurement but now prefer the Forrest Gump Metric- stupid is as stupid does. Unfortunately this exposes legions of more idiots, but better to know about them. It's satisfying to know that when they came to fork in the road where one path led to happiness and the other jealousy, hatred etc they made the wrong choice, and the worthwhile destination will only be populated by those I would want to be around. Sarcasm just doesent work well in a text medium , and is generally not practiced well by Americans (not to generalise) but I find digging through layers of sacrcasm ,slang and political dogma pretty much encrypts the meaning of a post sometimes.
