Didn’t get role at 16 because she wasn’t “fuckable”
According to her.

I'm sure there was an internet basement-dwelling community at the time who would have disagreed with that statement.
shareI am guessing they were looking for another young Drew Barrymore for "Far from Home" kind of role.
As for major franchise role, all I can think of is spiderman, maybe lost to Emma Stone.
Drew was around 14 when she made "Far from Home". I didn't see that movie until a few years after it came out and I remember thinking that she was probably around 18-19 while filming it. About a decade later, I found out that the movie was made in 1989 and she was only 14.
shareThere are girls look mature for their age, another prime example was Traci Lords, who lied about her age and became a famous porn star at the age of 15.
shareIt's shocking if true, why in the hell would a young teenage girl need to be "Fuckable" for a film about car journey across America with their father.
She took it in good grace when saying it but that must of sucked hearing it at the time.
She'll probably never be fuckable. Skinny fair haired women with teeny-tiny facial features are asexual looking. Like Taylor Swift.
Brunettes have more sex appeal, some curves go a long way and you either need a cute or sexy face. Not a doll like one that can be called 'pretty'.
Go and watch Super 8.
shareWhy would I do that? I googled it there now and it's a movie from 2011 when Fanning was 13 years old? Are you saying she was sexy in it or something?
shareIt is like seeing Scarlett Johansen in the Horse Whisperer. You know from seeing them they will always look good.

Can’t argue with that.
shareSuper 8 is a very good film.
shareTaylor Swift is hotter
than all her supermodel
friends.
I daren’t imagine who you find sexy.
