Always thought he was wooden and terrible

But he is pretty damn good in Pleasantville and Hours

reply

He's not really authentic in a tough guy role, but he was a fine actor, nevertheless.

Hello and welcome to the forums. Just an fyi this post is from the old imdb forums, that you can tell by the lack of a post number next to the user's name. Once in a great awhile you get lucky and get a response, but it's definitely the exception. You'll also see sock farmers using this technique to get enough posts to start threads, so a heads up on that as well if you want to avoid that perception.

Anyway, throwing out wooden and terrible is ironic in the case of Paul Walker since he died wrapping his car around a tree. I figured that's where this thread was going by the title.

He was good in a lot of things. Authentic in real life. And spectacularly beautiful.

He's got that exact same acting style Keanu has. I guess I thought it was bad once upon a time till I finally met some people in the real world who behaved exactly like that.

they do sound similar, now that you point it out

Yes. Not nearly as good as the thespian greatness of Vin Diesel.

He would still be alive if he lived up to his last name

I didn't see too many of his films but he was good in Joy Ride and Varsity Blues.
