I think he is currently on the defensive because the NY indictment caught him off guard. He wanted a big visible protest in NY and didn't get it.

No I dont think he wanted violence generated or initiated by MAGA supporters but DJT really wanted to see an over the top display of the New York police and counter demonstraters.

Jim Jordan and the other congressional Republicans havent done enough in support of DJT to maintain his victimhood.

The more DJT lashes out at the judge and the NY DA the more he distorts his "victim" status. In thag way DJT cant help himself.

There is indeed a Court of Public opinion, a Criminal Court, and a Political Referendum (an Election) that DJT will be judged in.

Remember, polls are not votes. Public opinion can move elections but it will be "Votes" that will make the difference.

Trace back what has transpired with DJT for years. DJT was a creature of the tabloid press and worked diligently to massage and manage his public image.

His successful foray as a presidential candidate was determined by NOT having a record to run on, spreading false claims and exaggerating the politics of his opponents to the extreme while stating that he was the brightest, smartest, and only person who could solve everything.

DJT can't win a presidency this go-round because he was fired as a president, he was terrible at being a president, and his "talk" was bigger than his walk.

The media can make or break a candidate to be sure, but the candidate must participate in their own uplift or downfall.

DJT created his own problems by Crime-ing and Lying.
