The only thing I got out of reading your post was your deeply profound ignorance of economics and economic history.

FYI there's a reason why not a single country in the world backs their currency with the gold standard. When you tie the value of your currency to the world's supply of gold, you're subjecting yourself to inflation based on the arbitrary variable of how fast gold is mined instead of exercising control of your own money supply to control inflation.

Contrary to your claims, the evidence shows that both inflation and economic growth were quite volatile when the US was under the gold standard. Standard deviation of inflation during the 53 years of the gold standard is nearly twice what it has been since the collapse of the Bretton Woods system in 1973. Furthermore, the gold standard was associated with greater volatility, not less.

Try and get your facts straight. But facts apparently don't matter to you do they comrade?

Re-instituting Glass Steagall pretty much fixes the problem of banks growing too big to fail. But you don't want any of it. That leaves you in a bit of a pickle. You want to criticize the Clintons and Obama as being far leftists but you simultaneously want to criticize the Clintons for their right-wing deregulation in repealing Glass Steagall. And its deregulation that Trump and Wall Street are all perfectly happy with staying the way it is.

Your second paragraph seems to be a projection toward Trump supporters. In 2008 people were desperate for change because of the financial crisis. Its understandable that some people saw Obama as the messiah to get them out of the hole created by Wall Street. Now we have the White House press secretary herself saying the president was appointed by god and every single Trump supporter is nodding their head in agreement.

You keep assuming and keep getting it wrong. Really, I'm not sure what makes you more pitiful; your inability to get anything right or your insistence on making additional incorrect claims.

Oh, you do know Trump HAS been a Democrat AND an Independent before he settled on being a Republican after finding the alt-right to be stupid enough to buy his line of crap, right? No, of course you don't. Because if you lived in America, you'd be one of them. I'm a native New Yorker and my knowledge of Donald Trump goes much deeper than Howard Stern interviews and being a game show host. But, again, you don't care....you'll just keep making incorrect assumptions.
