What was his best film?
I haven't seen a lot of his films, but I thin his best film is The Incredible Mr. Limpet (1964). What about you?

shareI really like him in The Ghost and Mr. Chicken
shareThose two are probably his best. I also liked The Reluctant Astronaut.
shareThe Love God was a good one that hardly ever shows up on TV. Not even sure if its been released on DVD... but it was quite funny.
shareI bought The Love God today at Wal Mart as part of a set of Don Knott movies. There are five movies on three DVDs in the collection -- The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, The Reluctant Astronaut, The Shakiest Gun in the West, The Love God, and How to Frame a Figg.
shareGhost and Mr. Chicken
shareTHE PRIVATE EYES.
shareThe Incredible Mr. Limpet is my favorite. But, I also like the Shakiest Gun in the West. Then The Ghost and Mr Chicken and The Reluctant Astronaut.
shareThe Incredible Mr. Limpet (1964) is my favorite for sure. I watched it many times as a kid and have it on DVD now.
shareThat was my sister's favorite. I remember the scene where his wife asks, "Am I the wife of a fish or the widow of a man?"
The Ghost and Mr. Chicken is one of my favorites. Saw it when I was a kid and it was just so "scary"! Well for kids it was. lol
My other favorite is The Reluctant Astronaut. That one had such a great supporting cast of character actors.
I do remember The Ghost and Mr Chicken also because the bloody piano keys used to scare me too!
share Yes, a spooky scene.
The blood on the keys wouldn't wash off.
I remember that cute little old lady saying, "And we even used Bon Ami."
I had no idea what she was talking about when I was a kid. My mom always used Comet cleanser. Never heard of Bon Ami!
My mom used Bon Ami. I think it is supposed to scratch less than Comet.
shareMy favorite was the Oscar winning Nip it in the Bud!
