British actor and comedian Eddie Izzard declared that she will use the pronouns “she” and “her” from now on.

“This is the first program I’ve asked if I can be ‘she’ and ‘her,” the “Ocean’s Twelve” and “Ocean’s Thirteen” actor said in a clip of Sky Arts’ “Portrait Artist of the Year” posted Sunday. “This is a little transition period.”

Izzard, one of the portrait subjects of the show, added that “it feels great because people just assume that they just know me from before ... but I’m gender fluid. I just want to be based in girl mode from now on.”

That's such bullshit. The supposed poor oppressed "minorities" effectively demand that everyone else change their language and conception of sex/gender. Often these poor oppressed minorities insist on civil penalties for those who defy their demands, and in some places they have succeeded in criminalizing language they don't like (Canada most prominently). Such penalties are way overboard and don't remotely qualify as "doing right" by those poor, supposedly powerless minorities. If I wish to refer to all human beings with testicles and a penis as men, then too bad. I can live without you and you without me, and I'm content that science and its long accepted language is on my side.

Just the idea that all "LGBTQIA+" people have the same interests is problematic.

I'm gay and I think the current gender ideology is actually harmful to gay people.

Most kids with atypical gender expression are gay but now lots of them are being told it means they were actually born in the wrong body and need to be fixed. How is that not seen as a form of conversion therapy?

And homosexuality is also being redefined as same-gender attraction instead of same sex. I'm sorry but gay men are not interested in vaginas even if those women have grown beards.

So yes if men want to act feminine and women want to act masculine that is fine. But we can not pretend biological sex isn't real and we should leave children alone.
