Trump slams Biden on Maui fires: ‘Most incompetent president in the history of our country’

"I would like to express my sympathy and warmest regards to the people of Hawaii and specifically all of those who have been so gravely and irreparably hurt by the tragedy of the wildfires in Maui, something the likes of which have seldom been seen anywhere at any time," Trump said.

"The death caused by this catastrophic event will be far worse than ever expected now that houses and cars and other areas are being inspected. The sad thing is, it should never have happened. Our government was not prepared. And very importantly, the aftermath is going very poorly, with the governor of the island wanting to do nothing but blame it on global warming and other things that just happen to pop into his head," he added.

Trump slammed Biden for not commenting on the rising death toll from the fire when asked on Sunday. He also slammed the president for his handling of the toxic train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, in February.

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden, with $115 billion sent to Ukraine, offers just $1.9 million ($700 per household) to Lahaina.

The Biden administration is seeking $12 billion in additional money for the government’s disaster relief fund as part of its supplemental funding request to Congress.

Possible $12 billion more.

The president is not able to authorize this kind of aid by himself. It was a bipartisan effort in Congress that allowed it to happen.

The US military in 2022 got over $700 billion. The 2022 US budget was $4.9 trillion.

If Ukraine got $115 billion, then that was about 2.3% of what we Americans get. Americans are still #1 unless you're using some really stupid math to come to your stupid conclusions.

The problem is that 95% of Americans don’t care how their country is run, Dem & REPs. Many even vote Dem out of fear or do as the media tells them. This apathy makes this country such an easy target. Our Gov has been infiltrated and is now not working for The People but in the interest of the Vanguard Group. Many feel that something is “fishy” but never follow up!

We can beat this but need major reforms! Amendment to big banks, big tech, big business! Less investments in war overseas.

It’s not over but the future looks very bleak. I dread to think of the US in 10 years time.

I listened to his video, it was rather bizarre, but still typical of a Trump rant.

There are far worse disasters in the world compared to the fire in Lahaina.
It took only a minute into his video until Trump turned to political attacks. So much for Trump's concern about the Lahaina residents.
Trump was offended by Biden's "no comment". Trump would have said "I take no responsibility at all".
The Hawaii governor has done more than blame the fire on global warming.

But Trump is giving them his love and sympathy. Yuck. What a turd that was.
