No one can compare to Smokey. And he’s a great songwriter. For other Motown artists, as well as his own. My Guy sung by Mary Wells for one. I hated when Michael Jackson did one of his songs; Smokey’s was so much better. The Hunter Gets Captured by the Game is one of my favorites by Smokey and the original, The Marvelettes. Just thinking, Grace Jones’ version would be a great song in a movie - James Bond?.
