She must apologize, pay her debt to society, and fuck off forever

Most people that have had to endure her abysmal output want her fired.

I think that is not nearly enough.

Her incompetence, ignorance and stubborness has single handedly crashed a once successful studio, causing the loss of an unimaginable amount of jobs and value.
It smells of fraudulent management, as if she purposefully mishandled the business to willingly cause all this damage. Possibly for her or somebody else's gain.
Isn't that ILLEGAL?

There should be an investigation.
I think she should be charged for it and personally punished. Maybe even jailed.

That's really the only reason she is still there. She has a list of names. Hopefully they don't renew her contract when it's up. Although other sources say she accepted a severance and will go quietly.

It's terrible how SW and IJ are now burned to a cinder and barely good for yet another shitty netflix series.

Lucas already started this decline, that is why disney was able to buy the company. But what they with it did is reckless, that is like buying the tower of Pisa and pushing on it to see how it crumbles.

It was Lucas who put Kennedy in charge.

He could easily have handed it off to someone with talent. He knew what he was doing when he handed her the keys.

Lucas publicly stated his disappointment with the sequels many times.

The fact that, years before, he might have trusted her, makes her ever so guilty for what she has done.

Yes but he knew she had no experience running a conglomerate like Star Wars, which is not only a big brand, but means a lot to its fans. It’s basically a religion, they’re not regular films.

Lucas got credit at the time for handing over to kennedy, but she was just frank Marshall’s wife, she never really proved to be a creative force. She just rode on Spielbergs coattail.

Kennedy had t-shirts made up saying ‘the force is female’’… but the force actually is anyone, proving she doesn’t even understand Star Wars.

Since the 90s, it’s been crap decision after crap decision for George Lucas. The mess of Kennedy is his creation.

Lucas tinkering with the original trilogy, then removing the theatrical copies forever, is far worse than anything Kennedy has done.

The masses can have their shitty prequels, sequels, spin offs and tv shows, but the kids born in the 70s & 80s (who thus grew up on the original vhs copies) just want the original trilogy back.

It's not just her. Look at J. J . Abrams himself. He directed those piece of shit Star Wars movies and did more damage than anyone could ever do. All she did was shit on it even more, adding to the shitstew.

Sure you can get rid of her, but that won't make the studios less risk-averse. They won't take risks on projects any more. Its nothing like the original Hollywood Studio system in the 30's , that was all about risk.

Problem is now it's all about zero risk . Zero risk = crap quality films
