Country singer, songwriter, and actor. Awarded a Rhodes scholarship to University of Oxford in 1958. Joined the army, became a helicopter pilot, was stationed in West Germany during the early 1960s. Writer of Me & Bobby McGee, Help Me Make It Through the Night, For the Good Times, Sunday Morning Coming Down. These were all hits for other singers.

He will be missed.
Rest in peace, Mr. Kristofferson. 🌹

What a voice.
What a legend.

It's funny, I "discovered" for the first time thanks to one scene from the movie "Taxi Driver".

RIP Mr. Kristofferson, I know he was very famous in the USA. Right now I remember him as an actor in "Planet of the Apes- 2001".
