The (late) reports of his daughter Pola about Kinski's sexual abuse were indirectly confirmed by his daughter Nastassja.

And Kinski described the sexual abuse himself in his autobiography (1975).
Unfortunately, almost no one took it seriously.

Well, the first psychologist suspected schizophrenia.
Later Kinski was diagnosed psychotic.

I was going to post the same thing and I honestly can't separate the art from the artist in this one.

I grew up watching so many films he was in, some of which are my favorites, and I always sensed he was an odd character just from interviews he did...but when the other shoe dropped and we all found out what a reprehensible shitbag the guy is...I haven't been able to watch movies with him the same way. Like I actually catch myself looking away from the screen and wincing sometimes.

Makes me wonder about Herzog too. They did so many films together, and Herzog never suspected anything?
