Jenny Agutter said in a 2002 interview that the novel Walkabout became part of the English Literature syllabus in the late 70s and the 1971 film she starred in was shown in a lot of classrooms.
That meant for years several schoolboys got to watch her strip off her clothes and swim fully naked when she was a young teen.
I was pretty young when I saw that movie. She definitely made an impression.

shareI didn’t have the good fortune to see “Walkabout” in school but Jenny also goes skinny dipping in the 1976 film “Logan’s Run,” though the scene is not as revealing. Fortunately she strips naked in another scene in that inexplicably PG-rated film which I saw in the theater as a 10-year old. Full frontal, no less.
